Monday

Hi everyone!

We arrived safely at Hornsea at about 4:15pm.  We had fish, chips and mushy peas, followed by jam sponge and custard - YUM!  We've all unpacked and made our beds (phew - what a challenge!!!)  We're just about to write our letters and email home so do check your emails tomorrow.

See you soon,

Tuesday

What an exhausting day already!!!  We've had a lovely long walk along the seafront and enjoyed playing on the beach and searching for interesting pebbles.  We have been really blessed with the weather - we've had an ice-cream and sat outdoors for a picnic.  We're all starting to feel quite tired but I'm sure after another delicious meal tonight, we'll get our second wind!!!

See you all soon,

Class 5

Wednesday

Yet another tiring and jam-packed day!  Lots to see and learn at The Deep.  We have even watched a 3D presentation all about sharks - scary!!!  Just spent the last part of the day at the Museum Quarter in the Streetlife museum - again lots to see and do.  We've had another glorious day and again had a picnic by the River Humber.  Last night, we had such fun creating and making various different arts and crafts.  These are to be continued tonight...

Looking forward to another delicious meal for tea tonight.  Last full day tomorrow - boo hoo!!!

See you soon,

Class 5

Thursday

Well, we've almost come to the end of our very exciting but exhausting week in Hornsea and what a week it's been!  We've have another lovely day in Scarborough and again been blessed with the weather!  We had a long walk along Marine Drive towards Peasholm Park.  We did stop however, to do a spot of building in the sand (see the photos!!!)  After that, we again had a picnic and walked around Peasholm Park with the squirrels and the pigeons!  The journey back to Hornsea saw all the teachers fall asleep (a much needed rest!)  We've just tucked into another delicious tea and we're about to start Hornsea's Got Talent!

Looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow,

Class 5

Friday

Well, we've come to the end of our fantastic week!  We've done so much that we're all in need of a good rest (teachers definitely included!!!)  We had to get up half an hour earlier than usual, which was really difficult, so that we could pack our things and get ready to load them onto the bus.  We had a lovely breakfast and then said goodbye to Hornsea.

We've all had such a fabulous time, I want to say a big thank you to all of Class 5 for making this visit such an enjoyable and memorable time.

Thanks Class 5!
